THERAPY DOG PROGRAM
Therapy dogs make visits to elder homes, group homes, hospitals, and schools to assist with emotional and physical therapy. The residents at these facilities look forward to regularly scheduled visits. Many of these residents are animal lovers and have had their own animal friends, miss them very much, and appreciate the visits of these new friends.
Some facilities allow Facility Dogs which are placed in their facility to be a common pet for the residents. They would be required to care for the dog, and we would be there if there is a problem, to follow up on the care and welfare of the animal, and to see that it gets regular medical care.
Therapy dogs also participate at fund raising and other special events for our corporation.
WE DO NOT SHOW PICTURES OF THE RESIDENTS IN ANY FACILITY WE VISIT TO PROTECT THEIR PRIVACY.
